Some of the September trophies
The September competitions are mostly fun team competitions played in pairs with the final competition, the Texas Scramble played in teams of 3
The final competiton for this season, the Texas Scramble, was played on Saturday 25 September. The weather was lovely, the course in great condition and everyone enjoyed their game and the tea and cakes after!
The winners with an amazing nett score of just over 55 were (L-R) Helen Christie, Janet Peddie and Anne Dobie
The second of the September paired competitions was an 18 hole Greensomes for the Hutchison Spoons. The winners were Doreen Gibson Allan and Jane Banks. Jane is pictured with Vice Captain Heather Fleming
The first of the September fun competitions was the Telfer Trophies, a foursomes stroke play competition. The winners were Senga Hogg and her partner Elaine Brunton
The Endeavour Trophy is for ladies with a handicap of 36 plus. This year’s winner was Janet Laird
The Lady Valerie Plate is played over 14 holes by ladies aged 70 and over. This year the winner was Dianne Parish
